| Recognising the key role played by the private practitioners (PPs) in increasing the coverage and reach of RNTCP and as effective DOT providers, the Central TB Division has developed an advocacy kit. Titled Public Private Mix in RNTCP for a TB Free India, this kit is aimed at the District TB staff. Comprising of a range of material – Desk Calendar, Diary, Flip Book, Treatment Chart, Poster, Boards for Approved Centres, certificates, mementoes, stickers and a CD containing PDF files and a audio visual presentation on RNTCP in English and Hindi. Some of the material are for sensitization whereas some can be given to the PP for use in their clinics. These material s can be adapted based on the specific requirements of RNTCP officials in different states/ districts to promote public-private mix.
